Overview
At the heart of our school vision is the belief that every student can grow into a thoughtful and active contributor to the community. Our Changemakers Programme brings this vision to life by intentionally integrating our Applied Learning Programme (ALP) and Learning for Life Programme (LLP) into a coherent and connected learning experience. Students participate in the Changemakers Programme on a weekly basis as part of currlculum time.
Students experience learning not as separate strands, but as an interconnected journey where knowledge, skills, and values come together. Through authentic, real-world contexts, they develop critical thinking, collaboration, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
By bridging applied learning with character and life skills, the Changemakers Programme nurtures self-directed learners who are able to make meaningful connections, take ownership of their growth, and contribute with purpose—living out our school vision in both word and action.
The Changemakers Programme seeks to provide authentic platforms for students to apply creative problem-solving and design thinking as they work on real-world issues. It aims to nurture leadership competencies, 21CC and compassion, while empowering students to manage projects effectively from idea to implementation. Through purposeful sharing of their learning journeys with the wider school community, the programme encourages students to inspire others and contribute meaningfully to their environment.
Through the S3 Tiered approach, students are provided with differentiated opportunities for students to discover and grow as changemakers.

P3 Changemakers
Using our Access – Brainstorm – Create – Deliver (ABCD) innovation protocol, our Primary 3 students explore how they can be stewards of the environment by promoting care for their school environment. Through collaborative discussions, they identify areas where positive environmental habits can be encouraged. They then develop simple yet meaningful ideas to raise awareness and inspire their peers to take responsibility for keeping the school clean and green. By presenting their projects to their peers, our students not only strengthen their confidence but also contribute to a more caring and environmentally conscious school community.
P5 Changemakers
Our Primary 5 students explore what it means to be inclusive and to care for people with disabilities. Through guided research, empathy-building activities and classroom discussions, they sought to understand the challenges faced by individuals with different needs. The students then designed creative solutions and awareness initiatives to promote a more inclusive school environment. They shared their learning and advocating for kindness and understanding to the whole school through their class information booth during recess. They took meaningful steps toward nurturing a school community where everyone feels respected, supported and valued.
