Anti Bullying Policy

We are committed to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for every student. Learn how bullying incidents are managed, the measures we take to prevent bullying, and how everyone can play a part in fostering a positive school culture.

The school takes a strong stance against any form of bullying. Any form of hurtful behaviour is wrong and unacceptable.

What is Bullying?

Bullying is repeated hurtful behaviour where there is an imbalance of power. It can take different forms:

Physical (e.g. hitting, pushing)
Verbal (e.g. name-calling, teasing)
Social (e.g. exclusion, spreading rumours)
Cyber (e.g. hurtful messages or posts online)

Be it hurtful behaviour or bullying, we will take action when informed of such cases. Students can report incidents to any teacher, including their Form Teacher, subject teachers, Year Heads or the Discipline Master. They may also approach the School Leaders or the General Office. Reports can be made verbally, in writing, or via email, and will be handled with care and sensitivity.

Our Preventive Approach

The school adopts a proactive approach to build a safe and supportive environment through:

Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) lessons
Cyber wellness education
Peer Support Leader (PSL) programmes
School-wide efforts to promote respect, empathy, and kindness

Students are also encouraged to play their part by supporting peers and not remaining silent bystanders.

Working in partnership with parents

We value the partnership with parents in guiding students’ behaviour. Parents can support by:

· Reinforcing respectful and responsible behaviour at home

· Encouraging their child to speak up when needed

· Informing the school early if there are concerns
